In the spring of 2023, Safedrive entered into a national partnership with the non-profit organization DRIVE. Now, DRIVE has named Safedrive the "National Partner of the Year".
Every year, tens of thousands of people attend Gatebil to experience speed, excitement and drama on the track. It is also an important arena that facilitates speed and excitement within legal and safe boundaries - and not in traffic. Safedrive is now the main partner for the period 2024-2026.

- Safedrive is often present at the various Gatebil events in Norway. The meetings with visitors and Gatebil as an organizer have been very positive, and we are now taking the collaboration a step further and entering into a partnership with Gatebil.
This is according to Magnus Wester, CEO of Safedrive.
Gatebil is known as "The hottest track day festivals in the world", with participants and visitors from all over the world. In total, over 80,000 car enthusiasts visit Gatebil's five festivals every year.
Lars Gjøran Fredriksen of Gatebil explains why Gatebil is now entering into a multi-year partnership with Safedrive.
- This year, we have partnered with Safedrive as our new main partner. One of the reasons we wanted to do so is that we both work towards a common goal, which is to get speeding off the roads and into a safe environment on the track.
- We have a car event where the public can bring their car - whether it's a track car or the car you normally use - to a car track, and try their hand at several different motorsport activities. We have two festivals in Sweden and three in Norway, where everyone is welcome.
Wester is clear that the partnership with Gatebil means more than increased visibility at Gatebil events, and looks forward to a good collaboration with Scandinavia's largest car festival.
- At Gatebil, we meet many of our members, which is something we value very highly. The good conversations strengthen the relationship between us and our users, and also give us the opportunity to provide good customer service - face to face.
– For Safedrive, the collaboration with Gatebil means much more than presence and visibility. Gatebil is an important advocate for high-speed driving within legal and safe boundaries. Observing all the skilled motorsport athletes showcasing their vehicles enhances one's respect for the forces at play and how quickly things happen when driving at high speeds.
- We believe this can have a preventive effect and can help create good attitudes in traffic.
Lars Gjøran himself has good experience with Safedrive, and recently had an incident where Safedrive Pro was a great help.
- I'm very happy with Safedrive. I've been using it for several years now, and the fact that you get alerts along the road about obstacles, controls and speed cameras makes Safedrive a very useful tool. Not least, you are constantly reminded of your own speed and behavior in traffic.
Lars-Gjøran at Gatebil has good experiences with Safedrive and is looking forward to having Safedrive as main partner until 2026.
- Just last week when I was driving home from work, I was alerted to an obstacle along the road, on what is a narrow and winding road. A few hundred meters ahead of me, there was a tree across the road.
