The device alerts you to registered events along the road. When you approach an alert point the device emits sound and light alerts. The device starts up automatically on every drive and receives updates automatically Over-The-Air.

Safedriveretrieves information from multiple sources, which is checked and quality controlled by a 24-hour call center before dispatch. With over 100,000 users, Safedrivers are often the first to register new incidents along the road.

Tap anywhere on the screen if you notice an incident along the road that has not been notified. Your location is automatically saved upon registration, so it is important that you notify as soon as possible. Some notifications require confirmation. Confirm the notification by pressing YES.

There is no satellite coverage in tunnels. Speed cameras and controls inside tunnels are therefore alerted when entering a tunnel. The device will not display average speed during section speed control inside tunnels. 

On first start-up, or if the device has not been used for several days, it may take up to 2 minutes for the device to connect to satellites.

Software updates will be made automatically Over-The-Air. The functionality of the device will continuously improve, and new features and services will be released.
