In the spring of 2023, Safedrive entered into a national partnership with the non-profit organization DRIVE. After contributing more than NOK 7 million in added societal benefit, DRIVE has named Safedrive "National Partner of the Year".

Chairman Ketil Solvik-Olsen and CEO of Safedrive, Magnus Wester, are very pleased to be named the 'National Partner of the Year.' In addition, Safedrive received the tangible proof of its societal contribution in the form of a social utility certificate.

- We are very proud to be an active contributor to the important work DRIVE is doing in communities across the country, and we therefore greatly appreciate receiving the "National Partner of the Year" award.

This is according to Magnus Wester, CEO of Safedrive.

This spring, Safedrive entered into a national partnership with DRIVE. As a national partner, Safedrive aims to facilitate DRIVE's outreach to even more local communities and enhance their visibility.

- Safedrive has positive experiences with local initiatives aimed at young people, and we know that the DRIVE concept gives the young people who need it a facilitated arena where they feel a greater sense of belonging. We have personally attended several events organized by DRIVE in the past year, and are touched and motivated by the efforts DRIVE puts into creating positive experiences for children and youth," Wester explains.

In June, Safedrive participated in DRIVECamp in Sarpsborg.

Over NOK 7 million in added societal benefit

Safedrive came in early as the first national partner for DRIVE. The agreement initially extends until 2026, providing predictability in the important work that DRIVE carries out. Founder of DRIVE and former European rallycross champion, Knut Ove Børseth, says that the national partnership with Safedrive will mean a lot for many children and young people

- The target group for DRIVE's programs and activities is the approximately 20% of young people aged 10-25 years who have the most difficulties and who are not doing well in their lives. Our programs and activities are designed to provide these young individuals with positive affirmations, security, and a sense of community. We achieve this with the support of approved DRIVE companies and close collaborations with national partners like Safedrive.

- In 2023, Safedrive has made significant investments in DRIVE. According to calculations from Veritas, this commitment has resulted in an added societal benefit of as much as NOK 7,140,000. In recognition of Safedrive's contribution and positive impact on society through the collaboration with DRIVE, it is a pleasure to award Safedrive a ocial utility certificate, as a visible testament to Safedrive's societal contribution.

Magnus Wester states that Safedrive looks forward to further collaboration with DRIVE in 2024, hoping that they together can make an even greater difference in the coming year.

- Safedrive is very pleased to have made a significant difference together with DRIVE in 2023. Our ambitions for 2024 are, of course, to contribute and facilitate even more exciting activities and offerings for those who need it the most.

- We're really looking forward to a rewarding 2024 together with DRIVE, he concludes.
