With data from the National Road Database, Safedrive users will now have access to yet another feature that provides increased control along the road.

Bjørn-Aage Bredal from Garasjetid has taken the wheel to show his YouTube followers the very latest update for Safedrive Pro. The updated software allows users to activate a main screen displaying the current speed limit at their location, combined with a speedometer showing their own speed. With data from the National Road Database, users will now have access to yet another feature that provides increased control along the road.
Bredal himself uses Safedrive Pro, and explains what he particularly likes about the traffic alarm.
- What I really like about Safedrive is that it shows me section speed controls and my average speed. It's easy to get a bit distracted and forget the current speed limit, and this is why the new update comes in handy.
In the video, Bredal explains how to easily download and activate the new update. Safedrive Pro updates itself OTA (Over-The-Air) automatically, and once the device has been updated, users can use the new main screen by pressing and holding the screen for two seconds.
As Bredal demonstrates, the speedometer has a color indicator, which means that the speedometer changes color if you exceed the speed limit on that particular stretch of road. He also explains how the new feature and the other alerts make him more attentive in traffic.
