Safedrive enters into partnership agreement with Thansen

Safedrive expands its retail venture and enters into a partnership with Thansen. With its 42 outlets, Safedrive Pro will become part of the product range in Thansen stores nationwide.

The partnership has long been desired by both Thansen and Safedrive, and both companies see it as natural that Safedrive Pro should be part of an already extensive range of automotive accessories, bicycles, mopeds, leisure, and much more.

Magnus Wester, CEO of Safedrive, emphasizes that the collaboration with Thansen will benefit both new and existing customers.

- This is a major and important partnership agreement for us. Our 70,000 users constitute a significant traffic community that alerts us to hazards, obstacles and controls. Thanks to the collaboration with a major player like Thansen, we will be able to reach even more people with our products - and thus strengthen the quality of our services, which are largely based on users actively reporting what is happening along the road.

Hans-Andre Sørvik, Marketing Manager at Thansen, is very pleased with the brand new collaboration with Safedrive, and makes no secret of the fact that the chain is delighted to be able to offer a Norwegian-developed product in its product range.

- As a nationwide retail chain with products for cars, home and leisure, we're thrilled to finally have Safedrive in our range. It's something we've wanted for a long time. The fact that it's a Norwegian-developed product specially tailored to us Norwegians makes us even more excited.

Well received

Thansen has quickly become a popular player in the Norwegian market after T. Hansen Gruppen acquired Torshov Bilrekvisita in 2017. The 13 stores have now become 42 stores, and the chain is expected to grow in the years to come.

- Thansen now has more than 40 stores nationwide and is still in strong expansion. Although we are best known for our range of car parts and supplies, we offer much more than that. With us, you can also find products for bikes, motorcycles, camping, boats and leisure. We're also one of Norway's biggest players in tires, and we offer tire changing in most of our stores, says Hans-Andre Sørvik.

The fact that Thansen has invested heavily and succeeded in the Norwegian market has also been an important motivation for Safedrive to enter into a partnership.

- Thansen has proven to be a breath of fresh air in a highly competitive market and has succeeded in establishing its brand here in Norway. We are confident that Safedrive will fit seamlessly into the T. Hansen concept, and we look forward to an exciting journey together, concludes Magnus Wester.
