With spring in the air and bare asphalt on the roads, many motorcycle enthusiasts are looking forward to a new season on two wheels. Among them are Thomas J. Winther and René Holmen – known to many as the duo behind Bikelife Norge.

Bikelife Norway has quickly established a strong position in the motorcycle community, with its own podcast, approximately 32,000 followers on Facebook, and a website dedicated to motorcycle news and information, attracting almost 150,000 unique users. In addition, Bikelife Norway organizes track days and rider development courses.

- We are overwhelmed by the growth Bikelife Norway has experienced since its launch in 2021. Our goal was to test bikes, create some YouTube content, and try to produce one podcast episode a week. We added some motorcycle friends to our Facebook group, and had no idea what to expect until the membership requests started pouring in. In the early days, 1000 new members joined every day, and today we count nearly 32,000.

The duo attribute their success to targeted and hard work and effective use of social media.

- We've primarily achieved success on our social platforms. We focus on spreading joy, being positive and engaging, which has resonated with our audience. It has also been important to highlight motorcycle issues in the media and public discourse, in our own way, to give motorcyclists a safer and better everyday life. We are also working with other groups and organizations to achieve the zero vision goal.

Bikelife Norway experiences increased safety with Safedrive Pro.

Safe on two wheels with Safedrive Pro

In addition to communicating news and current affairs about motorcycles and motorbikes, the duo are constantly testing new products aimed at the motorcycle market. Among the products they have had good experiences with are Safedrive Pro and Safedrive's motorcycle case.

- We've been using Safedrive Pro for a while now, and find that the features work surprisingly well - especially the obstacle alerts. This is obviously very important for those of us who travel on two wheels, and are particularly vulnerable in accident situations.

During the peak season between May and August last year, motorcycle fatalities accounted for 25 percent of all traffic fatalities. Bikelife Norway emphasizes that the importance of increased driver competence and aids such as Safedrive Pro can help to reduce accident statistics.

- At Bikelife Norway, we focus on increased safety for motorcycle riders through measures such as rider development, but we also experience increased safety with Safedrive Pro, because it gives us early warnings of hazards and obstacles.

- Not least, it's incredibly handy and easy to install, the duo conclude.
