Oliver, Petter and Pernilla Solberg are now part of the Safedrive family. In 2024, the "world's fastest family" and Safedrive will collaborate on exciting activities and promote positive attitudes towards speed in traffic among children and youth.
Safedrive is entering into a partnership with one of Norway's most high-profile drifting athletes, Tor-Anders Ringnes. Together, Ringnes and Safedrive will focus on good attitudes to speed in traffic among both young and old.

- Safedrive values collaborations that we believe can create positive ripple effects in the traffic situation, and Tor-Anders Ringnes is a great role model for many, and an important mouthpiece for at-risk youth. We are therefore very pleased to establish a partnership for the coming season.
That's what Magnus Wester, CEO of Safedrive, says about the profile that is now entering into a partnership with Safedrive.
Tor-Anders Ringnes started his gossip career on his grandparents' farm and has been one of the leading drifting profiles in this country for several years. The drifter from Rakkestad is looking forward to the coming season in a yellow "Safedrive car", and was touched when his Toyota GR Supra was unveiled at the Oslo Motor Show in October.
- We unveiled the bright yellow car at the Oslo Motor Show, and I have to say that the result was great! I'd seen sketches beforehand, but it's something completely different to see the car in front of you. Now I'm just looking forward to getting behind the wheel and doing what I do best.
Magnus Wester describes Tor-Anders as an important ambassador for Safedrive's work, and emphasizes that Ringnes will play an important role in reaching out to car- and speed-loving young people in particular.
- Tor-Anders is first and foremost an exceptional driver. It leaves you speechless to see what he can do on four wheels. His unique standing in the motorsport community will make him an important ambassador with great reach towards an important target group we want to acquire good attitudes.
- At Safedrive, we work every day to keep people safe and help everyone avoid accidents and surprises on the road. But we're pretty clear that road safety doesn't have to be the opposite of speed and excitement. It's just important that it happens where it belongs - on the track.
Tor-Anders Ringnes supports this message.
- "I meet a lot of boys and girls who are interested in cars, both at competitions and other events. They're also avid followers on Snapchat, TikTok and YouTube. These are wonderful young people who love exhaust fumes and burning rubber, and it's super important that we manage to take care of them by guiding them properly.
- It's especially important to respect the passion for speed and excitement, but at the same time ensure that this passion is lived out "on the track" with a safe framework and environment. I really feel at home in Safedrive, which has taken the same stance in its efforts to get dangerous driving off the roads.
Drifting is a motor sport where you drive an entire track or a sequence of turns in a skid. Drifting is also the only motorsport that is based on judges. The judges judge the athletes on angle, speed and smoke.
So it's perhaps not surprising that motorsport literally burns rubber. Tor-Anders says that he spends 150,000-200,000 kroner on tires alone over the course of a season.
- Drifting is a costly sport, and you have to calculate significant expenditure on tires. Naturally, there are huge forces at work when we drive, and the rear tires often only last one long side of the track before they need to be replaced. This quickly adds up to six figures in annual expenditure.
- To be able to compete in drifting, you're therefore completely dependent on good sponsorship and partnership agreements, which I've now got with Safedrive," says a satisfied Tor-Anders.
Perhaps a stint as an artist will also contribute to Tor-Anders' efforts. He recently released the song "Mekke bil" together with the successful duo Hagle. At the time of writing, the song has been streamed over 800,000 times on Spotify.
