– Safedrive Pro has saved me from colliding with wildlife countless times, says Bjørn "Budde" Lillebekk. He spends a lot of time on the road in his job as sales manager at office furniture company Scan Sørlie AS.

Scan Sørlie manufactures and sells office furniture for the professional market, handling everything from product development and design to production and sales. The company is based in Sarpsborg, where there are nine employees divided between order, sales and administration. At the factory, there are approximately 75 employees.

- Our goal is to produce quality products that are in demand in the market and to always have satisfied customers, says Bjørn, better known as "Budde" among customers and acquaintances.

Customer visits mean a lot of time behind the wheel

The tasks of the salespeople at Scan Sørlie range from writing proposals to customer contact and participating in trade shows. Budde communicates with customers via phone and email, and he also drives around to visit them. here are often multiple customer visits in a day. Budde has 35 years in the office furniture industry, indicating that he enjoys his work.

- No two days are the same, and I like that. We are three salespeople at Scan Sørlie AS, each responsible for our own district.

The salesperson responsible for Northern Norway uses flights to reach customers. Budde's sales area extends from Oslo northwards to Trøndelag and Møre og Romsdal.

- I'm definitely the one who drives the most, covering around 40-50,000 kilometers every year, he says.

Bjørn "Budde" Lillebekk covers around 40–50,000 kilometers behind the wheel each year and greatly benefits from the Safedrive Pro traffic alarm.

Avoids speeding fines

Both Budde and the third salesperson, who also actively uses the car, benefit greatly from the Safedrive Pro traffic alarm.

- We use it to stay updated on obstacles in traffic, such as animals in the roadway. Additionally, it alerts us about speed cameras and controls.

Budde estimates that Safedrive Pro has saved him from getting caught in speed cameras several times.

- I'm on the phone a lot, so it's easy to miss a speed camera or two, he explains with a smile.

Budde is quick to point out that he always uses "handsfree" when driving.

Reliable wildlife alerts

- However, the best thing about Safedrive Pro is that it alerts of obstacles along the road. I drive a lot in exposed areas where there is a lot of wildlife both day and night. The alarm has saved me from hitting wildlife an incredible number of times. It's generally very reliable.

Many people fear running into game, and Budde has experienced first-hand how frightening it can be.

- I know what a wildlife collision entails in terms of suffering for both animals and humans, he concludes.
