Together with our mascot Tryggve, we will encourage everyone to dream big and take action to make a positive difference. Do you have an idea, project or event you would like support for? We support projects such as:

Questions and answers

Who can apply?

The Tryggve Foundation supports socially beneficial initiatives around the country. To apply for support, you must be affiliated with a business with an organization number.

The Tryggve Foundation wants to ensure that all support goes to projects with socially beneficial purposes. An organization number is therefore a requirement.

What can I apply for support for?

The Tryggve Fund supports teams and associations with up to NOK 100,000. Larger events and projects with greater reach and lasting value creation can be supported with larger amounts.

When can you apply?

The Tryggve Fund has an ongoing application process. If your project is awarded funding, you must submit a confirmation to receive your application amount. You will receive information on how to do this if your application is approved.

The money is paid into the business's account, and not to private individuals.

What is the treatment time?

Every month we draw a winner from our rewards program, Safedrive Reward, where the winner can also choose to donate to good causes in their own local community. Any award may therefore vary somewhat when the time comes.

Other criteria

Safedrive will follow up on projects that are awarded support through the Tryggve Fund, and may request documentation or feedback on results from the project.

Safedrive reserves the right to promote or share information about the projects on our social platforms. This provides an opportunity to inspire others, highlight success stories, and spread the message of promoting safer and better communities.

From safe driving to activity and community in Nærøysund

When Bilberger Per Ole Øvergård won 100,000 kroner through the Safedrive Reward, he chose to give back the same amount to the local community. In Nærøysund, the funds were divided between two organizations that create meeting places and community – and received praise from the mayor.

Had to stop plowing when the phone rang: – I shed a tear

A plowing job in Hol municipality took an unexpected turn when the phone call from Safedrive came in. Leif Johnny Nestegard had won 100,000 kroner – and quickly decided to give the same amount to Hol Sports Club.

Received 100,000 kroner and gave 100,000 kroner to a rural project

After participating in Safedrive Reward for just under a month, Lars Ketil Mikkelsen from Tromsø was selected as the winner of the month and was paid NOK 100,000. But the winnings don't stop there.

Bente Katrin Halvorsen was the winner of the Safedrive Reward of the month in July. In addition to receiving a prize of NOK 100,000, she also had the opportunity to donate up to NOK 100,000 to socially beneficial causes in the local community through the Tryggve Fund.

– You are helping to make Malvik safer, more generous and more inclusive

Every month, 100,000 kroner is awarded to socially beneficial causes through the Tryggve Fund. In July, the support went to Sveberg Danseklubb and Malvik Red Cross, who make the local community a better place to be!
